Features
A tracker that does not get in the way
Kynatx was built by people who were tired of losing a set because an app wanted them online. Everything below works on a free account, and most of it works on no account at all.
Offline is the default
Your training lives in a database on your phone. No signal, no problem, no spinner between sets — and nothing you log is ever waiting on a server to accept it.
1,900+ exercises, plus your own
A full built-in library with equipment, bar weights and assisted variants, each with how to perform it, what it works and the form cues that matter — and you can add anything missing, including a video of your own form.
Progression that does the maths
It reads what you lifted last time and suggests the next weight and rep target, respecting your own increment for that lift.
Rest timers and supersets
Group exercises into a superset and the timer follows the group, not each row. It keeps running when you lock the screen.
Every session, kept
Per-exercise notes, per-set weights and reps, warm-up flags, and body weight over time. Nothing is summarised away.
Templates and a weekly split
Build the sessions you actually run, put them on the days you actually train, and start one in a tap.
Reminders that respect the plan
A nudge on the days your schedule says you train, and nothing on the days it does not.
Goals, habits and achievements
Set a target and watch it close, tick off daily habits, and collect the milestones as your total volume climbs.
Sync when you sign in
One login puts your training on every device and lets a coach in. Sign out and everything stays exactly where it is on the phone.
With other people
And when you are not training alone
None of this is on until you sign in and ask for it. The tracker above never needed any of it.
Find a coach and ask them yourself
Browse the professionals on kynatx.com, read what they actually do, and ask one to take you on. They accept or decline — and until they accept, nothing of yours is shared.
Train the session together, live
Your coach opens a workout on their side and your phone follows it: the exercise, the set, the rest timer, a demo clip when they cue one. You log from your own device and both of you are looking at the same session.
A feed, if you want one
Share a finished workout with a line about how it went, add a photo, and see what everyone else is doing. Likes and comments, nothing to opt into, and nothing leaves your history unless you post it.
The promise
Your training data is yours
This is the strongest commitment the product makes, so it is worth being precise about.
Your coach can log for you, and you can switch that off
A coach you have linked with can write a workout into your history — that is on by default, because a coach writing down the session they just took you through is simply what coaching looks like. One switch per coach turns it off, it lives in your own settings, and a professional can never flip it back. Turning it off does not end anything: they carry on coaching you, they just stop writing.
You can turn history sharing off, per coach
Writing and reading are deliberately two different switches. Working with someone does not have to mean handing over everything you did before you met them: switch this one off and they see only the sessions they wrote themselves — the relationship carries on, and nothing about logging widens it.
You can see who looked
Every time a professional reads your history or changes something of yours, it is recorded somewhere you can read it.
Gym staff never see your training
A gym you are a member of can see your membership and your check-ins. It cannot see a single set you lifted, there or anywhere else.
